She extended a hand towards him still smiling. “my name is…” Then with one hard hit in the head he was back to reality with nikki looking pissed off that he was ignoring her.
“what the hell was that about! You usually never..” she yelled but suddenly stopped in the middle of her sentence when she looked at his face. Looking down at the ground finally realizing what was going on she walked over to Volroc and hugged him. “V im so sorry I blew up like that I had no right to” she whispered in his ear trying to get him to cheer up.
Volroc hugged nikki tightly as they stood there next to the tree not saying a word but they knew what would have been said like they were reading each others thoughts.
“Lets go get that pendant so we can head back to the apartment” she whispered to him. Then slowly pulled him towards the waterfall where they last seen the pendant. “I hope no one took it while we weren’t here” she said most likely to herself.
Finally getting himself back together he could see that nikki was concerned. He smiled slightly then continued walking towards the waterfall which was closer than expected. He turned around and started walking backwards when he well into the water with a splash.
Nikki busted out laughing as turned around walking backwards and fell in the same way Volroc did. “what? It looked fun” she said still laughing. They automatically looked towards the waterfall where the pendant was relieved to see no one had touched it since they last seen it.
In one smooth movement Volroc reached the pendant and grabbed it before nikki could realize he had left her side in the water. He returned with the pendant in his hands still glowing a bluish white color that looked beautiful.
Nikki took it from his hands to look at it closer, it was a moon on a chain but inside it there were stars and what looked like to be other galaxies. “this is so pretty” she said twirling it in her hands to see every angle. “can I wear it?” she asked making sure it was ok with Volroc first. With a slight nod of his head she put the pendant around her neck and smiled as she looked at it.
“you look great with that pendant” Volroc complimented “now lets get going before something bad happens” he said turning around and grabbing her to pull her onto his back while nikki just smiled at im.
In less than a second they were already at the door to their apartment. “here I got it” she said grabbing a key that was hiding under a pot to unlock the door.
As soon as they got in the room they saw a not on the ground, the same kind of paper used for the note in the cave with the same names on it. Volroc grabbed it to open it but it was heavier than the last time.
