“It will be fine V” she said as she entered the cave with Volroc right behind her making sure no one was following. When they got in they found a note lying on the ground that had their names on it. “Hey Volroc what’s this?” Nikki said holding up the piece of paper that was on the ground.
Nikki handed the paper to Volroc so he could read it. “Apparently someone knew we were going to be here.” He whispered opening it up.
Then he started reading it aloud so Nikki could know what it says. “Dear Volroc and nikki, I know what’s going to happen very soon you have to go to the waterfall get the amulet before a creature gets even close to it. That amulet belongs to me and it has remarkable powers in it. If any creature finds it and somehow gets a hold of it you must follow it and retrieve the pendant as soon as possible. Good luck, I leave you two to protect it till I get back I will explain everything when I get the pedant back and its safe.”
“What are we going to do about it?” Nikki asked walking towards him trying to reach for the note.
“Nothing tonight we will go and get it tomorrow morning” he said as he took the note out of reach from her. “I’m going to go explore the cave though want to come with?” Nikki just nodded her head and followed Volroc as he went deeper and deeper into the cave.
They saw all the bats as they flew around trying to find a new place that kept them out of sight. The way the walls would just stand out and the way every sound echoed threw the entire cave. “Volroc how far are we going to go?”
“as far as we can” Volroc said as he continued walking forward.
As nikki was wondering off on her own she found a small entrance “hey V, can you come over here I think I found something” she called out hoping he could hear her. Next thing she knows Volroc is standing right next to her. So she jumps back “god dammit will you please stop doing that!” she yelled.
All you could hear was Volroc laughing as it echoed threw the cave. “ill try but doubt that will work” he said laughing again. “anyways what did you need?” he said looking around protectively.
“There’s an entrance right there and I wanted to make sure I didn’t go in alone” she said pointing to a small hole that bats were flying out of. As Volroc went to take a closer look and Nikki followed the hole suddenly got bigger.
“Lets go in!” Volroc says excitedly and walking closer to the hole as he grabs her hand and pulls her along with him so she wouldn’t be alone out there. “there no way in hell im leaving you alone out here for one second” he said dragging her along side him as he went deeper down the passage.
