I woke up in a ball, under the old tree. I couldn't remember what happened the day before, or the day before that. Everything else was fine.
But Those Two Days.
I Can't Remember.
My white eyes fluttered open, then moved left and right checking my surroundings. I'm in an old forest that seems to be nowhere near civilization. Oh Joy.
With ears perked up, I lift my head from my arms and yawn. My ears twitch, hearing something move in the bushes ahead of me. I scoot back, the bottom half of my body entering the hollow tree.
My eyes could barely make out the figure, but it wasn't a Pokemon and it couldn't possibly be a human could it?
It got on all fours and began sniffing around, which made me go on all alert. Every hair on my body stood on end, making my tail fluff up in every which way. I scooted back more into the tree. The figure seemed to freeze, as did I. This thing probably noticed something moving, which would be me.
Crap, This Doesn't Look To Good. I Gotta Find a Way Out Of Here.
The figure placed it's nose on the ground and began to walk in my direction, alarming me even more. It stopped when it got close to the spot I was sleeping at. That was my signal.
In a flurry of brown and white, I shot out of the tree trunk and down the clearest path. I heard a grunt or was it a gasp? I couldn't tell. But then what ever it was began a pursuit.
This was bad, really really bad. I wanted to know what it was, if it had wings, if it was human or if it was a Pokemon, but if I looked back I was sure to trip and get caught by the figure.
Jump, tree on the left.
Jolt, leap, scurry, pounce on that branch!
Oof!
These were the sort of thoughts going through my head as I ran. But something caught my attention, I couldn't hear the figure running. Then out of nowhere something or someone leapt out from a tree and grabbed a hold of me.
What a Day this was turning out to be.
I heard a grunt coming from behind me and the figure. I dared to look up and see it was another morph.
Absol.
The boy, Absol, bolted away still clutching onto me. My ears were like a rabbits, sticking straight up on red alert. There was someone following us.
I'm going to die today aren't I?
I was being very apathetic then, because this was happening not to long after I woke up from a deep sleep. I was agitated and scared out of my mind.
I couldn't move at all, the only thing I could do was shiver. Thats how scared I was, and it somehow it seemed as if Absol was trying to make me feel better by holding me securely.
Back to the chase, literally.
This guy would not give up, as soon as I thought that I heard it howl. We stopped.
What Is He Doing?! Dumb a**! Move!
I squirmed to no effect. Absol just turned to face the creature.
It was Houndoom, morphed.
Houndoom was learing, but Absol didn't fault. About 20 feet away, you could see Houndoom getting into fighting position. The red hair, and long black trench coat
"Give me the child. Now. I don't have all day.",he snarled at Absol. When Absol didn't answer Houndoom howled and shouted Ember, motioning his hand outward.
That made Absol grunt.
"Protect.",I managed to hear him say through the roaring beads of ember that was blazing towards us. I looked ahead to see this blue shield and embers bouncing off of it. Absol was wincing, and he had already seemed tired.
If I'm Correct Absol's aren't to good with defensive moves. He must have worked on his Protect if he could keep that up.
Houndoom was not pleased in the least, considering he was howling and growling like a mad man. Suddenly Absol put me down, but kept hold of my hand, then squeezed it reassuringly.
When I looked up at him, it was like a huge blur of the past washed over me. Aero? This was Aero? It's been. . .years since I've seen him! We grew up together but then him and his father moved and I had no one to play with anymore.
I had played with Aero so much as a kid that I had never thought of making any other friends, so thats why I'm so anti-social.
I came back to reality when his silver eyes locked with mine and he nodded. Suddenly I felt energy surging through me as if I were about to attack. I looked ahead at Houndoom and simultaneously, mine and Aero's hand raised together. Purple and black slithered down our arms and to the tips of our fingers, slowly forming into a black orb.
I knew this attack, and I had only used it once before. I hope Aero had control of it, and he was just using me to charge up the ball.
Houndoom wasn't seeing clearly, I'm guessing from my point of view, he was running at a fast speed going from one side to the other. A growl following, he howled so loud it felt as if the ground was going ro crumble.
"Shadow Ball!",we shouted and simultaneously we arched our arms to the side and launched the black sphere at Houndoom. Before I knew it, Aero had taken off with me, and when we were 30 feet away the explosion occured. I could hear Houndoom yelp in pain.
Suddenly I felt bad.
That attack, wasn't that strong. . .was it? It couldn't have killed him could it?
"Eve. . ."
I looked up to see a half asleep Aero. Then I looked at how high in the air we were.
Uh-Oh. . .
