I read Silk on someone's recommendation. I loved the characters and the feel of the Birmingham/Atlanta punk/goth scene as described in it. I think I missed a lot of the impact simply by not being arachnaphobe and I was really... not pleased by the ending. It's left me rather conflicted about the whole book. Just what was it trying to say?
