Hogan’s HEROES

On a cold winter day in 1942, there was a POW camp in the middle of Germany. This wasn’t some ordinary prison camp, Stalag 13, the camps name, was a unusual camp. It had been ever since Colonel Wilhelm Klink took over, and Colonel Robert E. Hogan was the Senior POW officer. The senior office, Col. Hogan, was running a underground rail road, and Klink had know idea what was going on in his Luff Stalag. He helped prisoners get out of Germany and to England and sabotaged bridges, factories and other things Hitler made in WW2. They have Klink’s office bugged and could listen in to secret meetings. Sergeant Hans George Shultz was the prisoners guard, he was a dumb guard always seeing nothing! Hogan had for other helpers with him, their names, Staff Sergeant James Kinchloe, He worked in the undergrounds radio and was a black prisoner, then there was Sergeant Andrew J. Carter, he was really good at explosives and stupid at points. Corporal Louis Lebeau was their French chef, he was Shultz’s strudel maker.
Then there’s Corporal Peter Newkirk, very talented, He can crack safes, pick locks, and pick pockets, that is he could do it all his life. He can imitate people’s voices, him and Lebeau are best friends.
The kommandant always says to every general, major, or any other rank, that there has “never been an escape from Stalag 13!” and that’s true but Colonel Hogan and his men and get out any time! But they can’t their stationed at the stalag. They get some Germans pretending to be prisoners and that messes things up, but Hogan always has a idea and it gets rid of the spy. Now to his men, one thing about Carter is he can also do a good impression of Hitler. Kinch is always at the radio except when their out for role call or playing a ball game. London is were they get their stuff and drop people need for missions. They have contacts in Germany, such as Tiger she is a French underground agent. Hogan sends his men out for missions but the ones that always bring trouble is Newkirk and Lebeau. They are very much happy to go on a mission with a girl or 2 there. Carter enjoys going on a mission and blowing stuff up. Kinch is calm one Hogan can trust to finish a mission. Sgt. Shultz will tell the prisoners information for certain things, like money, candy, and strudel. This is the best stalag to be in, were prisoners escape in to get out!
