continued the poem: me
Sick and tired of the same routine
She says I love you
He looks at her with no intentions
And says it back
With no feeling
They play this game all day long
To pretend and to forget
With no love at all
They said I love you
A million times before
but with each new time
Nothing comes up
More and more
So when I say I love you
Don't look at me and say it back
Just leave like I know you want
Stop pretending and leave me be
Because although I love you
You never loved me
(my turn)
thou heart is broken;
torn apart
from a man who
left you with a mark.
Another word of that emptiness.
His "I love you"
makes you at a distress.
Three syllables;
that come from his mouth.
Those words are of untrust;
thou in art of a doubt.
Ignore his lies
and he'll be gone
from your unhappy soul.
You say, "So long."
