I've been having an awesome week!

The other day I got two letters from my friend Oz, who is currently in basic training, which I was really excited about. The things he said in one of them really touched me, as did the fact that he sent the letter itself (he hadn't received a reply to his last letter yet, but he wanted to write me anyway...) Oz is one of my big brothers, really, and I love him just as much as I love my biological brothers, so hearing from him is always nice.

I also got a call yesterday asking me if I am interested in working at my church's daycare... I want to teach young kids, so the fact that I am being given the opportunity to work in a daycare floored me, especially one so close to my home and where I know so many of the people. I'm super pumped!

Um... I go to take my driver's test again tomorrow. EEK! I failed it the first time, so I'm scared senseless. I also have to go have a TB test and a mini physical (to check my back) to make sure I am capable of working with kids and find my social security card for a background check. I'm gonna be super busy. I also have to call a woman I've babysat for to see if I can use her as a reference. Fun fun. lol

So... That's what's going on in my life. Because of the new job, I may not get to go to Oz's and Ed's basic training graduation (Ed is another friend of mine in basic), which sucks, but I'll find out for sure when I go to turn my forms in tomorrow.

And school starts Tuesday. Ugh.
