I am seriously getting sick of my father and the way he punishes my puppy when she makes a mess on the carpet. Well when I was asleep this morning, appearently our puppy made a mess half on and off the carpet after he went bullistic over her last time and he did it again and the puppy's yips woke me up. I yelled at him to stop it and he said he was 'teaching' her. But still you dont hit a dog like that.... and he and thrown her outside unaddened and side he didn't care. I was scared about that because my lost dog got hit by a car when not watched over so as soon as I heard that I did move quicker. Thankfully she was still there, but shaken up. So I was calming her down and making sure she did her business before taking her back in. now I'm keeping a few towels in my room whenever my puppy decides to come for a visit and put them on the carpet just so she doesn't mess up. At least I dont smack the dog to where she's yelping. I just bop her nose and stick it in the mess say no in a loud stern voice and then attempt to get her to go outside if she still needed to.
