I learned today that you were fake,
No truth, all lies, so hard to take.
You left me alone, cold and dying,
I stayed up most nights, sleepless, crying.
But I now realize something I couldn't before,
I don't miss, or love you anymore.
I got over you and your breath taking words,
My heart no longer hurts.
I don't need you in my life, to make me happy, to laugh,
I can do it myself, build a new path.
I have my friends and I know they care,
They are there for me when I am in despair.
I know there is one guy who loves me for me,
So I will wait for him, whoever he may be.
