You dropped me where you found me in this cold and dismal place
Handing back the heart I gave so freely it crumbling in your palm.
Tears sting my raw skin, tumbling faster and faster
I lay in the pool of salty water, wishing death would consume me quickly.
Wishing that all of this would just disappear before my eyes
The pain would cease
The tears would dry
My heart would mend
My heart would die.
I lay so still no breath to be had
The pain still carries on
The blade so inviting to my skin
I just wish all of it would end.
I guess I love you wasn't enough.
That's okay I suppose.
You'll just be another scar.
