“We shall never get caught as long as you’re with me.” Silence was with them now. The only sound was their breathing, even the trees didn’t move. She was getting very fidgety, although she knew she could trust Peter. Rustling in the leaves startled them.
“Do you trust me?” Peter asked suddenly. I hesitated. I knew we didn’t have much time.
“Yes,” I knew he could sense I was terrified.
“Get on my back!”
“What!”
“Just trust me!” As soon as I got on his back we were in the air.
