TGIF
This Goes In Front
No, Thank God Its FRIDAY!
We had a pep assembly today. it was going all good, everything was fine, but then, while we were between screaming and deciding what to do next, all of the teachers started staring up at the top, and a few started to sprint up the bleachers to the top. everyone stood up and looked back, and there were two boys fighting on the bleachers. they were escorted away, and what really disgusted me was that some of the people were chanting one of the fighter's name, egging them on. When they left the Gym, our new principle stood in front of everyone and started counting.
"One, two three!" She said really fast. i think she expected us to shut up. she had been principle at an elementary school last year. some of us were still standing up, shouting our heads of, but most of us were sitting quietly, waiting for things to get a move on.
"Okay, that's it, the assembly's cancled." she said, frustrated.
Everything went quiet at once. everyone was staring at her. we were used to someone counting to five...slowly. and then we would be back to normal. no one had ever just cancled an assembly because we were a bit loud.
She told the band to pack up, and sent us all back to class. our teachers were so pissed off, they told us to just read quietly and then they went to get coffee or something.
jumping off topic for a second, we have to officers for our grade in our class. the president and the secretary/treasurer. they came in and told us that our dance was cancled.
Now we probably will have all of our free dress days cancled, our pep assemblies, and our dances, all cancled because two boys started a fight in the bleachers and we didn't shut up in under 2 seconds.
I know, it sounds like im a whiney b***h. i'm not, i'm just frustrated at stupid people. Stupid people are the ones who are responsible for the state of our earth. i call it the Idiot Effect.
Take a normal classroom. everyone is supposed to be quiet. then one guy/girl leans over to her friend to say something, thinking that she's just one person, and that her voice wont make much of a difference in the volume of the room.
What she doesnt realize, is that ten other people will see her talking, or maybe have the same idea, and they'll start talking. and then when the teacher gets mad, and yells at them, they'll believe they had nothing to do with it. they were just one person, how could they affect the volume in the room?
And then it starts all over again. now, think of that, on a large scale.
Thats the Idiot Effect.
