This was in the Ocean part (It had so many jellyfish but most were in the dark)(Was hard to take many pictures of them)
**When you first go to the ocean journey you go through a butterfly sanctuary where they would just land on you.**
My hubbie was chasing this butterfly everywhere when finally it landed on this boy's shirt. I told him Be still you have a butterfly on your shirt. After hubbie took the pic. we showed him the pic. biggrin
This is just a few of the photos we took. We had a wonderful time exclaim We even got to touch a stingray and my son petted a sand shark. My favorite exhibit were the seahorses and my son's were of course the otters. We also went to the IMAX and saw Under the sea that was just amazing!! It looked like you could just grab the fish. They were so close surprised On the way home we stopped in Gadsen, Al to see Noccalula Falls.
Here's the story: Long ago there lived a Indian chief whose daughter, Noccalula was sought by many braves. Noccalula pleaded with her father that she loved a young brave from her own tribe. So the old chief, desiring much wampum, drove him from the tribe. He was forcing her to marry another. The wedding day arrived and a great feast was prepared. Noccalula dressed herself in her wedding robes and overcome with grief jumped from the falls.
