A bloodied corpse hangs from the sky
feet dangling, neck noose and hung.
god giggles, holding the chain
only memories left of lust for pain.

Animals in different shapes and forms
stare in horror as they grab
the feet of the shadow and attempt to push it up
little did they know his air had been cut off

Thrown from his nest in the middle of the night,
poor little shadow, no one heard his plight.
Wings snapped and broken, his eyes left wide.
they say he jumped to commit suicide.

Only a kitten left to stare
only the kitten left open and bare.

Death grabbed her shadow and left her open
only the kitten knew the words her shadow had spoken.
