I guess it has been awhile since I posted so I better update. We have had a tough year so far, with details I won't go into. But let's just say I've had my fair share of stress. My poor squirrel ended up in squirrel heaven... cry crying I really miss him and I was looking forward to setting him free, but fate had something else in store for my little friend. We will miss you, Roo... I don't know if taking him in was the right thing to do or not. I wonder... I guess he would have died out in the cold right away if we hadn't taken him, but instead got to live nice cozy and warm over the winter before dying in a loving home in early spring... I guess when I look at it that way, it isn't so hard. I tried my best to care for him and I think he knows that wherever he is. He had love, food and shelter for the short time he was here. I don't really think I could have another squirrel though. I would be afraid of that one dying as well.
I have been working quite a few hours as of late, too. Instead of the 30 hours I've been getting almost or over forty and working like 13 days in a row. It's a bit draining, but whatever pulls in the money I guess, right? Anywho, it's getting late and I'm tired. We went to the carnival tonight a few miles away from our house, so I am officially beat. I am logging off and heading to bed. Good night, everyone, and take care.
