Today there wasn't much going on here so I decided to do a little cleaning. Sure, I've cleaned up a bit here and there, but never have I went through the whole house and cleaned all the rooms. It sounded fun so I gave it a whirl and and began to clean the kitchen. NEVER AGAIN WILL I CLEAN THAT GOD-FORSAKEN PANTREE OF DOOOOOOM!!!! This is what I found in the storage room. I found 24 bags of rice in the back, 56 bottles of some kind of lethal looking juice, and a barrel of.... crap? No pickles... I think. I didn't bother to ask why Sensei had it or why I found scraps of dried carrots on the floor. Since we only had a rice cooker, I was able to get started on scrubbing the floor without a massive pile of pots and pans to clean. So I scrubed. And scrubed. And srubed some more. Not fun. I moved through most of the rooms with ease, only to find a few odds and ends, such as an old procline dragon,(go figure) a dusty chair with three legs, and lots of spiders. The only room I avoided was Sensei's. I felt like it was his property, ya know? Like his own little space. And becides, I really didn't want to know what was in there. *shiver* With only on room left to go, I felt as though I was running a marathon with only a yard to go (WHOOP!). It was the frontroom, where people track in mud and grass to their heart's content. Since there was only one small table and a coat rack in it, I thought I would be easy to clean. I was wrong. Again. Dirt and packed mud was everywhere. I had only one sponge and a bucket of sudz to defend myself from the army of dust bunnies and cobwebs at hand. All in all, it took me three hours to tackle the HUGE mess. I think that now that everything is clean, it will take a little less time to wade through our neverending problem of treating the house like a barn. Bye for now. I think Sensei just keeled over when he was walking through the door. I'm so awesome.
