"The Lover"
The lover loved his little love
With brown hair and blue eyes
Her shimmering smile shining
When they crossed paths
He'd melt mysteriously, now one knew why
He knew of course, because of her
When she shined her shimmering smile
He'd melt yet again because of her
Gracefully frowing, he was brave
He hunted her down to ask her one thing
With ravishing red roses, one of which fake
Carefully counting, all "twelve" were there
To which he found her and shakingly said.
"I'll love you forever until the last one dies."
He handed her the bright red roses and walked away.
With what he had stated, she loved him more
She stutteringly shouted, "The answer is yes!"
With what was whispered from the distance
He ran towards her hugging her tight
Together they walked, holding hands
Together they walked, into the sun
Where nothing could break them apart
Before heading home, he heaved her up
Into his arms where their first kiss was made
All together, aimlessly going they were perfect for each other
