So, as some of you may or may not know, I am working on making a Manga, called Kyoujin high. The summarized history (Before the actual story starts) is thus:
Several Thousands of years ago, Daemons ruled the Earth. But they grew bored of warring with one another after a time, so one of the Daemons came up with an idea: to create a creature in their image, one that would be able to age and reproduce. This Daemon, along with a few others, created Humans. But there were many opposed to this creation, seeing it as an invasion on their world. One of these Purists, a Young Daemon of Blood and Violence by the name of Jirou, decided to disguise himself as a Human to see how these Cattlelived. Not much is known about what happened during that time, but Jirou came back from the City 9 years later (In Japan, Feudal Era, but long before the actual Feudal Era) changed. If anything, it seemed that a part of this cold and bloodthirsty Daemons' spirit had been lost. He spent several decades in a deep depression. However, when came out of his depression, he was even more violent than before. Creations that he had made out of spite were soon joined by even more horrible creatures, and soon this Young Daemon had his own Army. Many others joined him, and Jirou began what would be known as the Great Daemon War. The War lasted for 600 years, and heavy losses were taken on both sides. Kaji, one of the Deamons opposing Jirou and his Army, went to his old freind to trey to convince him to stop this madness before it was too late. Kaji was turned away, and the Last Stand was fought the next day. Kaji, along with several Humans with Daemon-like abilities (Soon to be called monks) sealed Jirou's power away in a black beaded necklace. But Jirou was still extremely powerful, so they then sealed him in a cave atop the tallest mountain in Japan. In his rage, the Daemon burned the top of the mountain for two years, day and night, until a female Daemon, Koori, froze the top and sent snow and ice to buffet the mountain, eventually quenching Jirou's rage.
Thousands of years passed.
Few people remember the Old Gods, and even less believe in the Daemon Jirou. Only the Monks of Everlasting Solitude, those who guard His prison, remember him. In an interview that was conducted by a Young Scribe Monk, the reason for Jirou's fury was found:
He had fallen in love when visiting the Human City. But she had been murdered by her fiancee, a man that she had been betrothed to beore she met Jirou. It was that that was the cause of his depression, and apparently his paln to eradicate all of Humankind.
Her name was Lillium.
So, that's it. It'll be by a group of people, not unlike CLAMP. Except we are called
