I look at you, tears in my eyes
the flashback starts
the pain, the tears, the cold,
that ever lasting moment that never leaves my eyes, my mind
and it all comes back
those feelings,
that shivering that came through me once, and one more time
then, you walk away, for you, nothing more has happened
for me, the world stopped once again
as you never notice me
walking by your side
crossing you once again
you never notice, how my eyes almost let those tears fall
how, never in my life, have i reggreted waving goodbye to someone
waving them good bye, not for the last time
but for the time that we spent together, walking on the same path in life
