On my previous journal entry, I briefly discussed the One Month to Live series that I was doing at my church. Well, its been about 2 weeks since we finished our last lesson and I have to say that its been very enlightening. Most of us have a hard time understanding what it means to be told you only have a month to live because we tend think that we'll live forever. Many people even plan as far as how they are going to spend the rest their lives. But who are we to say that we are going to live that long? We don't even know what will happen tomorrow...let alone what would happen in the next minute--we just don't know. We are mere human beings with the incapacity to know what subsequent events will take place. This is why I have faith in God about where I'll go after I leave this place. God is the only one who knows all things--past, present, and future--so I don't have to go around worrying about every little thing or give up hope when all seems lost. He holds my future in the palm of His hands and this gives me so much confidence that my life is lived with passion and purpose.
In the One Month to Live series, there are 4 challenges that we need to learn and apply. These 4 challenges include: living passionately, loving completely, learning humbly, and leaving boldly. All four challenges are very important to understand to live a life with no regrets. Unfortunately, I cannot really explain these challenges unless you yourself have received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. On that note, if you are interested or are curious about what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus, you can always PM me and I'll be happy to share with you.
Well, it's time for me to go and finish up some work. I hope that what I've shared helped you in some way. Again, if you have any questions about anything I've said, please don't hesitate to PM me.
Thank you and God Bless! <>< 4laugh
