the morning came... it was clearly going to be an easy day for the enemy. they were lazy and loved to cut corners. this meant they wouldnt be so diligent on looking for intruders. that meant that i just wouldnt have to kill any of them. fine with me. some of them had thrown caution to the wind and just gotten drunk last night... bad for me. hung over men usually had a heightened sense of hearing due to their irritability. i had to be a bit careful when dealing with those types. being a ninja... an assasin of highest expectations, makes you vurnerable to the slightest of imperfections. it is a moral code... an unforgiving self judgement. ninjas live high because they think high... the cave that ichigo inhabited was actually a natural scoop out of the mountain. it was convinient, hidden, and intimidating... to most. Darkness waited in the tall grass, waiting for his chance to slip past the continuing stream of foot soldiers. he got it when one of the grunts turned his head in his direction. darkness had seen this scenario millions of times... clueless one stared as if he had seen darkness move... then looked away as one of his mates asked what he was staring at... that was that brief moment of unattention that he needed. that solemn denial of evidence even when the presence of evidence was presented. Darkness fooled around with genjutsu a little in his life... he wasnt spectacualarly great at it... how ever he did possess a little devil in him.
