Chapter 5: Road Block
A young man, around his late teens or early twenties, entered the room of the Black Mistress, Nara. "Your Majesty," he said with a deep bow. "The Ninjas of Legend are still moving." Nara turned to face him. She was rather beautiful, with long wavy violet hair and red eyes. She seemed angry at this. "So, Deidara failed, hmm?" she asked. The young man nodded. Nara sighed angrily and turned back towards the window. With a small hand movement, she said, "Destroy them."


"What's the name of your clan again?" Katie asked Deidara. Right now, they were taking up a suggestion from Katie and writing the Akatsuki clan a ransom note. "I told you 4 times already!" Deidara snarled. "Well, forgive me if I have the attention span of a speck of dust!" Katie yelled back. The other girls sweatdropped at her confession and Deidara merely sighed in annoyance. "The Akatsuki clan." he said finally.
Tail tapped him on the head and joked, "Now was that so hard?" He backed down when he was growled at by Deidara. Rock Lee patted Tail's shoulder. "It's alright, Tail." Tail pushed Rock Lee's hand away and returned to the wagon. "There!" Ashley sighed. "Done!" "But how are we gonna send it to them?" Lacey asked. A long pause ensued. Suddenly, Deidara began to laugh and Katie started to rant. Rock Lee sighed and Tail tried to stifle a laugh to no avail.
Angel noticed a bird off in the distance and said, "Hey, we could tie it around the bird's leg and tell him to fly to the Akatsuki clan!" "That's brilliant!" Katie sighed, patting Angel's shoulder. "GET THE BIRD!!!!" The six girls began to scramble for the bird, making complete fools out of themselves. Deidara and Tail could hardly breathe from laughing so hard.
Finally, Katie managed to grab onto the birds foot. "I GOT IT!!!!" Jill tied the note around the birds ankle and they let it fly to the Akatsuki clan. "Ok, now that that's done," Rachel sighed, dusting herself off. "Let's get goin'!" The girls hopped on the wagon, Jill pulling Deidara onto the wagon. Tail and Rock Lee manned the front and drove ahead. Jill looked at Deidara nervously. There was something she liked about him. Her hand inched towards his, but pulled away just as quickly when Deidara turned to face her.
"Oh, you've gotta be kiddin' me!" Tail sighed. The girls looked in that direction. Just their luck. A gigantic redwood fell in front of their path and blocked the way. "Crap!" Katie growled, letting her head fall on Tail's shoulder. She snapped her head back up when Tail noticed, "Sorry!" "No problem." Tail smirked. Tail and Rock Lee stepped off of the wagon. "Now how do we handle this?" Tail sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. Rock Lee shrugged. In frustration, Tail punched the tree, feeling it crack under his fist. This gave Tail an idea. "Maybe...." he muttered to himself. "Hey, girls, untie Deidara!" "What're you, crazy!?" Lacey screeched. "Just trust me!" Tail returned with.
Jill sighed and took out her sai, cutting Deidara's bonds. "Come over here, Deidara." Tail pleaded him. Deidara joined the other two, wondering what they wanted. "On three!" Tail said, taking a battle stance. "One...two.....three!" With that, all three simutaneously ran their fists into the tree, snapping it in two. Katie stared at them in amazement. They seemed slender and scrawny but they were very strong. Katie and the others were impressed. Tail fanned the sawdust away, coughing, but saw something. "Who's that?" he said, using his hand as a visor. The young man from before walked towards them. "Pleasure to meet you." he smiled. "I'm Kuro."

Uh-oh! I think we're in trouble! gonk WHY ARE WE STILL THE NINJAS OF LEGEND AND NOT THE NINJAS OF BODACITY!!!!!!!!!!!!! scream Maybe we'll come up with that nickname later or something. IDK. sweatdrop
