Wow, today was great (even though I had a very bad morning - Jenny ruins everything, the little hoebag. heart ).
Basically, Val and I went on the Aquila field trip and felt like emos since we were the only ones who weren't in Creative Writing or Aquila. >_>
Meh, the writing everyone did there was okay. I thought their idea of "publishing" was lame, though. Stapling a little booklet together DOES NOT count as publishing. You need to tangle with the big fish.
So most of the time we walked around Portland. Which was great. There was so much atmosphere, and we hardly explored a quarter of a mile. Cobblestones, disco balls five feet wide, wharf kitties, etc. It was so great. We were allowed to take a few pics. There was a huge white bra thrown on to the side of a mountain of lobster traps. xd
We ate good food at Bill's Pizza.
But the BEST PART OF THE ENTIRE TRIP was when we were waiting outside of the pizza place for the bus. Val and I got out there first, and somehow ended up striking fierce poses for the people walking by.
Val: "Pose! Pose! Pose! DANCE!"
We were doing random poses of enlightenment and then somehow ended up dancing the robot vigorously to Gabe's singing. It was one of the most funny and embarrassing things I've done. Most of the natives ignored us, and the rest seemed embarrassed just looking at us. rofl dramallama
Yeah, that drama llama basically explains us then. dramallama dramallama dramallama dramallama dramallama

ASK YOURSELF in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple "I must," then build your life in accordance with this necessity..." - Rainer Maria Rilke
