"Butterflies From Me"
When i was 5 my faveorite uncle from california (yesh he was a hippy and im proud that he was) died of a heart attack in his sleep. Throught Yosemite and a little town called Mariposa he was known for saving the Merced River, His peopme, and his uplifting joy that brought evryone together. And just a couple of years ago we found one of his poem books he made himself called, "Butterflies From Me". It was just recently published into a small book. These are some of his poems.

Some say "I am American and I live in America." But I say "I am Strange and I live in a strange land.

I traded in a smile
for a broken down
out of town
clown frown
I fixed it up real nice

Today was warm sunshine and blue sky.
Today was nice.
Today was a big smile...
and a small tear.
Today was good.
Today was unlike any other day.
Today was love.

When my friend came
I was happy, I cried.
When my friend left,
I was sad, I smiled.

See the lonly pretty girl.
smile.
See her smile.
grin.
See her walking to you.
laugh.
See her walk right pass you.
frown.
See her with some other man.
cry.
