I got two new books today:
"The Strange Case of Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson (is very exited whee )
and
"STAR WARS: Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor" by Matthew Stover (is very apprehensive sad )
I had been wanting to read "Dr. J and Mr. H" for a while and I'm very happy that I finally got it. The SW book on the other hand... I saw it laying on a table and my first instinct was "OMG! It's not from the prequel trilogy!" So I just had to buy it. But now that I'm home and I'm looking at it I'm not sure. That Star Wars books started to go seriously down hill after the "Academy Trilogy" by [I forgot who]. This book takes place much earlier on the time line (just a little after the battle of Endor) but the author is an author of books for the prequel books and has been influenced by the dreaded Yutzan Vong. stressed Oh, how I hate the Yutzan Vong and oh, how I hate "Vector Prime" and oh, how I hate R. A. Salvatire! Yes, SW books have gotten very, very bad in my opinion. I don't know why I keep reading them... Maybe I'm just to naive and idealistic to stop....
