For those wondering about the title... that was my first reaction when the logic bomb went off...

Maybe I should start from the beginning... alright I'm writing this on a friends computer today and probably tomorrow...
here is why.

I have a computer and I love it as if I was married to it... I know that's kind of creepy I don't really care because honestly you will see why in a second.

I've had this computer for nearing two years now and had not just music, pictures, videos and all that stuff that every other teenager my age has on their computer but I had a few things that most teenagers don't have.
Things like a video game I have been working on making for the past year, a VI (Virtual Intelligence) that I was making named Shiba (Doesn't stand for anything I'm just not that creative when it comes to naming things and I happen to have a Toshiba)

Alright so now that you understand why this is kinda upsetting what happened to my computer that I have to work on my friend's computer now?
Well hold your horses I'm getting there...

Alright now to understand why this utterly crushed me you have to understand two things...
first this isn't the only thing that has gone wrong so far (Those that actually know me know what I mean) and this was just a final blow that broke me down...
second I had 3 different security systems for my computer,
one was AVG (anti-virus/anti-malware)
the second was Spy-bot search and destroy (anti-spyware)
and the third was a reverse firewall (built by a friend of mine and I) and that took care of everything else

(Reverse firewalls work on the same principle as a normal firewall except that they don't just stop the virus they hunt down the origin of it and send it back to the sender)

well somehow even though I had all of this security somehow some jerk-wad managed to send me a logic bomb that found a back door that I must have missed.
next thing I know I look at my computer and a message comes up that says
Hard drive wiped, hahahaha!!!
and then my screen goes black...
I tried restarting it but sure enough my hard drive is empty...
I even checked that hard drive with this computer and it is wiped clean there isn't even an operating system...

Now this wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for one extra little problem...
I work in an IT department (I fix computers and maintain servers all day)
this is a low blow to me and is the equivalent of someone coming up to the world best fighter and knocking them out with a single punch.

and to make matters even worse... despite that I'm always telling people "Always backup your data, at least once a month do so even if you only changed one thing always have a backup!"
I never did backup my data so now I'm waiting for my dad to bring by my rescue disks (left them at my parents house for some stupid reason) and then I have to restore everything from scratch and some of that stuff I need to replace I have to pay for. I'm looking at a total of $1645 to replace some programs like, Rhino NURBS modeling (graphic design program that costs $995 by itself)
but anyway I just figured I'd post this here despite that no one will read it, it gives me a chance to vent.
