Shiny, white-- so perfect, thinks she's so great. But even popularity is fragile. Turns around one more time, maybe she'll lose a tooth. No one's beautiful, when there's a hole in their smile. I'm holding a pen, and who could miss at a foot away? She turns, makes eye contact-- comments, laughs, turns back. I'd like to yell, is that so unnatural? I'm sure she's annoying everyone, girls have such awfully high tones of voices. Especially when they laugh. It's grating. Shrill, almost painful, in its fashion. Bell rings, free, for the moment, see her tomorrow. Sigh furiously, stand up, slam down the book with unmatched fury. Why is everyone looking? Just leave, please leave. See you tomorrow.
