Hey there so heres the scoop

yesterday i went to get a bus home from school at the bus stop there was two women with a child who was in a wheel chair

I watched with great displeasure as each bus that came up to the stop refused to let her on the bus soully on the grounds that they were not on the access a bus route I watched about 7 bus's stop and refuse her even ones that were clearly marked that they had ramps for wheel chairs.

the bus on the access a bus route came but said his ramp was broken after a few minutes I called up the city complaint department to get a message to metro transit.

The rep told me that according to metro transits regulation the bus drivers have every right to refuse the woman on the grounds that they are not on the access a bus route.

I passed my cell phone to the mother who then started to argue with the rep the rep then threatened to alert the police and hung up on her.

I called back the City complaints and got another rep and refiled the complaint.

I also passed on my story to ctv news and onward to more news teams and to the metro transit and HRM.
