Story!!
Just a little something I came up with.
Sorry for spelling and grammar mistakes.
Yes I am one of those freaks that starts a new paragraph at each sentence.
I know it's weird....>.>
Half way inspired my Moulin Rouge *Great movie* Half way inspired by Kausa's amazing Kingdom Hearts Fanfiction.
It's kind of written like a child's book.But it is not a child's book!(Whore house!!!^^)
I ams not the bestest spelr. and i ain't good ats grammur nether^^

{[Once] /u/p/o/n/ a time[/strike]}
Once upon there lived a cortisone.
She was beautiful and prosperous.
A traveler fell in love with the cortisone.
He was simple and naive, but sweet and had a kind heart.
The traveler would visit the cortisone everyday after the show he would praise her and tell her sweet stories.
Slowly the cortisone came to love the traveler, and soon that was all she thought about.
But one night the traveler did not come to the cortisone.
He had traveled on, he could not live there forever.
The cortisone was crushed, but wouldn't give up.
She quit the show and searched for days to find her traveler.
But she could not find him.
Anywhere.
She left town in search of her beloved traveler.
Along the path she took she saw stories written by her traveler scattered across the road.
She ran following the stories.
Until she reached a dark forest, his words flew into the woods.
She swallowed hard and hiked up her skirt and marched into the forest after the missing traveler.
She tromped around in the path until a clearing opened and on a stump sat a young man playing the violin.
Why hadn't she heard it before?
Because this forest was...
Magical.
"What a beautiful instrument." She commented.
The musician looked up and smiled.
"Thank you, what is a beautiful girl,such as yourself, doing in the woods, might I inquire?" He asked setting his violin down.
The cortisone blushed and replied:" I'm looking for my love, he's a young traveler, has he come through this way?"
The musician slowly shook his head.
"I'm sorry my dear, but this forest is magical and it's roads are constantly changing, he could be anywhere."He sadly explained.
"Then I will look everywhere for him!" She exclaimed with much enthusiasm.
"As you wish madam, but I must warn you there are dangers in these woods, creatures of unreal grotesque. A woman such as yourself shouldn't go alone, please let me join you."The musicians said smiling.
"I can't allow you to do that, I am sorry. What will my love think when he see's me with you. You are young and handsome, but my heart belongs to the traveler"She said looking at him straight in the eyes.
"I understand madam. But I must warn you of the beasts that lurk in the shadows. One is the Broken Possessor, it can take the shape of a man or a woman and trick you into thinking that you are it's friend, then it will take you to it's lair and strangle you to death.And the shadow crawlers, they follow you in your shadow getting into your mind, finding your fear and making it real.These are the only ones I have knowledge of,but there are more, many more." The musician said lifting his instrument again, and began to play.
"Thank you I'll keep that in mind" The cortisone said turning to a path that wasn't there before and stalked off in search of her lover.
The cortisone saw a man lying on the road she ran up to him thinking it might be her traveler.
It was not her traveler but a handsome duke was sleeping peacefully on the side of the trail.
The cortisone rushed to the duke and woke him asking him why he was sleeping on the side of the road.
"Oh, madam I'm sorry to worry you!I do this all the time, the forest is my home." He replied sitting up and smiling.
"But there are dangers in the woods!" She exclaimed "You could get hurt by them, you need to fins somewhere safe to slumber!"
"Madam, you seem tired and hungry, come with me. We can go somewhere and eat" He offered into a path that wasn't there before.
Suddanly a flurry of rocks were sent flying at the duke, and he morphed into his true state; a grey-ish figure with a broken mirror covered mask, ever smiling.
He fled into the path he opened and closed it behind him.
"W-was that a Broken Possessor?" She thought aloud.
She shook the thought away and proceeded farther into the mystical forest not taking any notice to her elongating shadow.
With no light how could you have a shadow.
It never crossed the cortisone's mind.
Right now her fear was loosing her precious traveler.
An easy task for a shadow crawler.
So easy indeed.
In the distance the cortisone saw another shape lying in the middle of the road.
Another Broken Possessor. She thought and kept walking.
She was not going to lean down to wake the sleeping monster.
But as she got closer she saw the pool of blood forming around the shape.
As she got closer she saw that the shape was her traveler.
She rushed to him and knelt to him.
He was still alive but badly wounded.
"My darling....You....found me...." He croaked.
The cortisone was weeping, for she knew there was nothing she could do to stop her traveler from dieing.
"You're okay, it's okay..." She sobbed resting his hear in her lap.
"I....Love....you..."He whispered.
"I know you do, I love you too. Just don't talk. Everything will be fine...."She assured him, but the shaking from her crying did not put the dieing man at ease.
The small craning of his neck to look at the cortisone gave way and he became limp in her arms.
Tears fell onto the dead mans face.
Then she was shaken awake.
But when she looked to see who her savior from the nightmare was.
All she found was a piece of paper saying :"Shadow crawlers gotta watch out for them"
She smiled and got up.
Tears were still streaming down her dirty face, but for all she knows her traveler is safe.
Still sobbing a little, the cortisone started walking farther into the forest.
