Ok, so the economy is really going downhill now. Gas for cars doesn't cost so much anymore, but come summer and it probably will.
My question is, if we have solar powered cars, if it's a prover fact that they work, why aren't we using them?
many houses are now solarpowered. It works great. it saves the families living in them a lot of money on the electricty bill. IT SAVES RESOURCES. Electricty doesn't grow on trees. at least I don't think it does. I'm not sure where it comes from.
Anyway thats besides the point.
If we have the technology to save resources in our world, WHY AREN'T WE USING THEM? Seriously, it's not that hard a concept!
And the problem with the ozone layer(or lack there of) in Antactica, wasn't most of that caused by too much CO2? Don't trees absorb that? (or vice versa, i'm not sure how the system there works) If we stop cutting down the trees and plant more of them, won't that help the problem?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH SOCIETY?
If an underclassmen in highschool can figure this out, why can't the buisnessleaders of the world? What is stopping them from saving our planet?
I don't know about you, but if the world of humans really does end in 2012, i'd rather go down with a healthy planet, not one that we've all but destroyed.
So one of my new resolutions for the year 2009, is to help save what's left of my planet.
I'm going to stop wasting our precious resources like i know I have been. Earth is too precious to let die, and I intend to go down with a fight.
