chapter 1
awakening

i awoke from this burning hell. before it was hard to breathe i was burning, and dying
i opened my eyes to see the farthest distance. i could see so clearly. no need for those glasses. i didnt need to breathe but it felt wierd not to. i closed my eyes. i tried to think back of what happened but my memory was shot i couldnt remember anything. all i remember was the pain. i opened my eyes to find myself in a room. it was small and bright. i sat up and listened. i think i could hear the highway or somthing. i listened more, footsteps came rushing up the stairs. the door swung opened and i flipped back and hissed. "who are you?"
"my name is Nick. Nick Coober."
"where am i?"
"you are in my room. my father found you all beat up and he just had to save you."
"what happened?"
"i was hoping you knew the answer"
"well i cant remember anything ok."
"yeah"
"what am i?"
"um...."
"TELL ME NOW before i rip you to shreads"
"ok you are a vampire."
"vampire?"
"yes vampire."
"hmmm"
"what is your name?"
"Alex."
"alex huh"
"yes" Nick stared at me. i cant believe im a vampire. i cant be a vampire, i just cant. their blood sucking monsters, killing machines. i looked at my hands. ice cold and hard.
"come on you need a drink and i want to introduce you to my dad."
i hesitated but then i followed him.
