Characteristics: Blunt and determined, but cowardly. She is not at all ashamed to retreat at the first sign of difficulty in a fight. Her honor is almost non-existent and she's willing to play dirty to win. Despite her naivety, her thinking is pretty level and she's not an amateur when it comes to using cool, plain logic. She's really friendly to those she considers on her side, but is quick to pick a fight with those she deems as evil.

Bio: Mori was raised as a warrior of the light in the Phoenix Clan and carries the fighting spirit of her people in her conscience wherever she may be. She's dedicated herself to fighting against the forces of darkness to 'cleanse the night' as she likes to put it. She knows about the strange powers in the castle and has made it her goal to tip the scales in favor of her side... whenever she's not busy stealing things.
Her hidden past (SPOILERS): At the age of 17, she attempted to seduce an assassin and bodyguard of the leader of Dojen's most powerful organization. It would have been perfect. She'd get him to spill the Order's secrets and prevent her village from making a dangerous alliance. It wasn't supposed to go very far, and once her father saw how valuable she was as a warrior, surely he would chase away those pesky suitors that were making her life more trouble than it should have been.
However, Moriko sorely underestimated her opponent, and the game of lust quickly slipped from her control; her heart became entangled in the mix, and a year later, she was struggling to hide a sudden pregnancy from her family and the man who'd been more than a match for her wiles. When her baby girl, Mitsuko, was born, the clan was in an uproar. She was a Null, neither Light nor Dark.
The child was mysteriously assassinated several months later, along with Moriko's aunt who was caring for her at the time. Moriko was devastated by the loss, and when the father of her child disappeared soon after, the stress was too much to bear. After two nights in the Magicks Sanctuary, Moriko came back home wholly believing that Mitsuko was her aunt's child; of the father, she had no memories at all save for cold gray eyes that occasionally appeared in her dreams.
Moriko's stubbornness and the strength of the spell over her mind prevents her from accepting any attempts to convince her of the truth. The cost of requesting spells from Shamans is high: Every time she is close to discovering her hidden past, Moriko will pass out for hours, or even days, and wake up with the spell burning stronger than ever. However, the largest side effect seems to have something to do with her heart. As the Shamans and Sorceresses of the Sanctuary are highly revered, the people of her village have long since given up trying to break the spell- or have they all?.....

CHARACTER'S DESCRIPTION: Headstrong and pushy, she's not one to forgive grievances easily. Or so she thinks. Her inner kindness may slip out towards those of 'Good,' but she is extremely hostile to whomever she deems as evil. She also dramatic at times and not above playing dirty.
CHARACTER'S LOOKS: Moriko has navy blue eyes, lightly tanned skin, and dark brown hair that is always in a ponytail. Her clothes compose of a deep blue sleeveless tunic with matching pants that reach her mid-calf. She wears fingerless black gloves and her feet are wound with black wraps. Moriko also wears a bracelet of beaded flowers.
