Hey, I just decided to make a entry on some of the books a favor to
first off is vampirates series by Justin Stomper! WARNING FULL SUMMARY, SPOILERS INCLUDED!)
book one all starts out with connor and grace temptest, two fourteen year old twins living with their dad at a lighthouse he owns. Well, one day, their dad suddenly died. well, the Temptest twins were about to get their dads lighthouse, his boats, his money, everything taken away from them, because their mother died when they were born. So, they decided to run away on one of their dads boats before it is taken away, they run away out to the rapid sea, at the fate of the current. Well, unfortunately, a storm was a brewin' that night, the little bitty, tiny boat, collapsed. Now the temptest twins were stranded out at sea. Well, connor has always been the muscle to grace's brains, so connor could swim until he was safe. But on the other hand, grace was strong, but not strong enough to fight the current long. Luck struck for the temptest twins when grace gets rescued by a vampirate ship, a man on it named Lorcan, a vampire. well, a vampirate is like a vampire that travels on a ship out in sea, like a pirate ship, except vampires, so, grace has always been afraid of the vampirates before this day because her dad used to sing this shanty to her. here it is below
I'll tell you a tale of vampirates
A tale as old as true
Yea, I'll sing you a song of an ancient ship
and its mighty and fearsome crew
yea I'll sing you a song of an ancient ship
that sails the ocean blue
that haunts the ocean blue


the vampirate ship has tattered sails
that flap like wings in flight
they say that the captain he wears a veil
so as to curtail your fright
at his death pale skin and his lifeless eyes
and his teeth as sharp as the night
oh they say that the captain he wears a veil
and his eyes never see the light



You'd better be good child, good as gold
as good as good can be
else i'll turn you in to the vampirates
and wave you out to sea
yes, you'd better be good child good as gold
because look! can you see
there's a dark ship in the harbor tonight
and there's room in the hold for thee!
(plenty of room for thee)



well if pirates are bad
and vampires are worse
then i pray that as long as i be
that though i sang of vampirates
i never one shall see
yea if pirates are danger
and vampires are death
I'll extend my prayer for thee
that thine eyes never see a vampirate

and they never lay a hand on thee
well, as you see, if you were told this everyday, you would probably be scared of vampirates. But they are actually kind, and only take a little blood from their donors, just enough to survive, donors are treated very well on the vampirate ship, they get fed a feast, and get granted immortality as long as they give blood to their vampire's.
Now, a little about the ol' connor temptest side, he was rescued by a pirate ship, by a person named cheng li. sounds asian but not by the way. Well, turns out, he becomes best friends with another pirate prodigy in the making named Bartholomew (but people call him Bart for short. Well, after connor participated in a few raids, he began to be one of the best pirates captain wrathe had ever seen, and only fourteen years old to! Well, one day, he was talking to captain wrath in his room, during that event, two bandits jump into the room and put them at knife point. well guess what? connor temptest ends up saving the day for ol' captain wrath!

Now back to grace's side of the story
She does not become a donor, but instead, best friends with lorcan, they actually became so close, they had a connection! Well, in the end of the book, a vampirate rebel named sidorio, wanted not to follow the rules, and take so much blood, that it killed the donor's, he was about to kill grace, until captain wrath found out about it and made sidorio walk the plank.
In the end of the book, connor finds grace, and by then, connor had almost became a pirate god! everyone knew about him if they were a pirate, but lorcan thought connor was a bandit and came out in daylight to protect grace, and accidentally blinded himself in the sunlight. Grace goes on the pirate ship tos tay with connor and that is the end of book one.

Book two
Connor and Grace are now on the diablo, A.K.A, the ship connor has been on all the time. After a few raids, grace talks connor into trying out the new pirate world, with new rules, taught at the pirate academy biggrin . When they arrive, connor makes new best friends jocoby and judy, he becomes a pirate god their to. but in the end their, he best friend and him participated in a royal duel (they acted it out, as in, not trying to hurt each other, they already planned out how it was gonna go) but the academy leader told jacoby to in the end challenge him unsuspectingly during the routine to see if he was really worth being called a pirate. well, connor doesn't take it as a joke, he parried jacoby's surprise move, and countered almost killing him, and then dropped the royal sword and left the academy back onto the pirate ship the diablo, now back to grace, yeah,a ll the time she was their, she got some weird messages, like, people at the vampirate ship magically came to the academy but not in real life, and she somehow floated back to the vampirate ship at nights (what a connection) it was all temporary, she didn't know how to make it permanent, until one night when she somehow permanently stayed their, the next morning connor went to check on her, and figured it all out, and left back to the ship by himself.

book 3 blood captain
Ok so now Connor and grace are back separated, but they are happy. but molluco wrath, the pirate captain of the diablo wasn't. see, one of his 3 brothers was murdered during a rebel vampire attack, one of the rebel vampirates was actually, connor ex-best friend until he died, jez stuckley. So, he goes to a bar named ma kettle's tavern, he met his other alive brother when he was their, and discussed their brothers death, to get off the subject of death, molucco proposed a raid on sunrise fort. well barbarro wrath's (captain wrathe's brother) son is plain rotten his name is moonshine, very young, like 12 years old. During the raid, connor was in charge of keeping moonshine alive (moonshine was not to be told that he was weak even though he was) well, they were disguised as the C.O.R a moving company trusted with valueable jewels, well when they had done packed all the jewels up, and acted like they were about to ship them to sunset fort. But, rotten ol' moonshine ried to smuggle some more jewels off, and blew their cover, a security guard was about to kill moonshine, but connor killed him before the guard could do anything, then the guard was dead, and connor killed his first person. He feels guilty about it, and goes back to the ship, he feels so guilty about it, that heactually ran away from the diablo, getting time to think, and joined his good ol' friend cheng li, who just got her own ship and rights to be a captain. But grace traveled up to a sanctuary rand by mosh zu, to try to heal lorcan eye sight, but back at the vampirate ship, over half the ship's members turned rebel, and joined the other vampirate ship to kill their donors and drink as much blood as they want. Well, in the end, lorcan's eye sight heals, and the captain heals from his collapse, and he releases all the souls he has been trying to help. Well, now connor is back with grace before he goes with cheng li in his new pirate life. And that was when the vampirate captain was releasing all the souls he has been holding their weight under for them and helping them, and the last one to come out was.....connor and Grace's.......MOM! They hug, and say I thought you were dead, and stuff like that, and here is where it gets freaky. Grace's and Connor's mom says "Thank you for taking care of my children Lorcan" and lorcan says "no problem sally"
