Nekoyasha (roughly translates to "cat spirit" wink
First Apperance: The Inuyasha fanfiction that has yet to be started. (gotta wait till one of my stories is done, i think.)

Weapon: Youmatessen (i think that 'youma' translates to 'monster'.), fangs, claws, magic aura of the Cats-Eye Jewel.

Nekoyasha was originally created as a rival for Inuyasha. In a sense, she knows more about the ways of the demon than Inuyasha does; such as when one demon's best friend feels pain, the demon in question does too (when Inuyasha was shot by Kikyo, Nekoyasha felt the arrow shot from miles away, when she was attempting to steal the Cat's-Eye Jewel.) and, when learned, the hidden abilities of a demon can be used to kill, such as her favorite attack, Poison Claws(one scratch sends highly deadly poison into the victim's bloodstream) and Owl's Eye (something like having eyes in the back of one's head.)
Nekoyasha is a brave, yet brutal Hanyou. She has a really rude attitude and has a strong feminist state of mind, decking Miroku instead of just slapping him when he attempts to cop a feel. Like Inuyasha, she doesn't hesitate to use violence when irritated. Unlike him, however, she tries to think before she acts, though most times it either fails or she forgets to.
She was Inuyasha's only friend as a child, attacking anyone who messed with him. However, after they both turned 10 years of age, they gotten into an arguement that rendered them rivals instead. They went their seperate ways after a while. Nekoyasha had her own agenda, anyway. She had hopes of stealing the legendary Cats-Eye Jewel. hoping to increase her strength and power to defeat both Sesshomaru and Naraku. However, when she did have it in her hands, she felt the arrow that bound Inuyasha to the God Tree(right?), thus slowing her down. There she realized that the fight that made them enemies wasn't meant to happen. Before the priest known as Shiomi got her (I think he might be reincarnated as Kagome's little brother.), she did attempt to run to him, even with an arrow in her back. However, Shiomi got her with an arrow enchanted with a sleeping spell. When she fell victim to the spell, they locked her in a glass coffin (similar to Snow White.). She was released when Inuyasha and the gang found her and Inuyasha destroyed the coffin. For some reason, (and I don't yet know why I came up with this.) she has something like the Beads of Subjugation that Kagome can also control, however, instead of "Sit!", Kagome goes with "Heel!". But it has the same effect. She has a knowledge of all the hidden demon techniques that Inuyasha doesn't know (ex: Poison Claw, Owl's Eye, Shadow Kick, Torrent of Pain, etc.) She uses these and her cat-like reflexes to her advantage in combat. However, though she is strong in battle, when it comes to her friends (ecspecially Inuyasha) when they come into pain, Nekoyasha is an extremely emotionally fragile person, sometimes attempting to resort to suicidal sacrifice to end the groups problems. The Cats-Eye Jewel was intended to be used by her to increase her power and strength, but not only does it do that but it also emitts a powerful barrier that even Inuyasha can't break, emitts a powerful laser beam in offenseive use and more. (haven't figured out other uses yet.)

Relationships:
Inuyasha: When they were young, Inuyasha and Nekoyasha were best friends, however at ten years of age, they shattered their friendship thinking that one was just using the other or something. After they reunite and forgive each other, Nekoyasha thinks that if the stars are right, they will assign Inuyasha as her mate. And yet, she also hopes that Inuyasha will admit his feelings to Kagome.

Kagome: Nekoyasha sees Kagome as a sort of little sister figure.

Kikyo: At first, Nekoyasha saw Kikyo as an aquantice. But when she found out that Kikyo was the one that killed her best friend, she hated her with every fiber of her soul.

Shippo: Nekoyasha finds Shippo cute as a little brother figure, however, Shippo sees her as the most beautiful girl he'd ever met. Awwwwwww.......

Miroku: Due to her feminist attitude, when ever Miroku tried to flirt with her, instead of slapping him in the face like Sango would do, she would whirl right around and sock him in the nose. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sango: Nekoyasha and Sango became friends after Nekoyasha joined, sticking up for one another when Miroku would mess with one of them or a villian targeted them.

Sesshomaru: When Sesshomaru stabbed her father, Nekoyasha decided to get her revenge. Ever since then, Nekoyasha never trusted him.

Koga: Nekoyasha knew that Koga wanted Kagome, but never said a thing. But she never hesitated to put up a fight with him.
