we all have thoughts
that we all understand

some thoughts are only medeocre
but some thoughts are truly grand

one thought came to me
that is rather strange and askue

what would the world be like
if the sky was black instead of blue

The briliant white clouds
making its own Cliché

black and white a marviouls sight
right smack in the mid of day

some may think it is rater dreary
a black sky so dark and cold

it depresses everyone
it would get rather old

But my thoughs you see
is'nt suposto be one of dispair

just an accent on something wonderful
the shining sun would still be there

This wonderful new land
would accent the sun

make it shine bright
in a way that is sure to stun

Becasue you see if we get rid of the distracting sky
which takes away from the sun so bright

things become so vivid and clear
it might just seem right

The next question you may ask
is what would our night sky do

If we made this radical change
if the sky were black instead of blue

fret not my fellow friends
the night sky would still be the same

the only difference would turn out to be
the subjects in the frame

in day time the sun would shine bright
as it normally turns out to be

In the night time the moon takes its place
just like it always is you see

Some may think this would be to much
and like it the way it always has been

They would argur it isnt right
they would say it was a sin

I would let them have their oppinion
if they let me keep my idea so new

if we change the fabric of our life
if the sky was black instead of blue
