So yeah, I'm a nerd, I guess. I don't get the math in school, and I usually get it right. I mean, on the STAR test in California, I got a 600 (Perfect Score) on the math section! Now, I just simply don't get it.

And I'm worried I won't get into Harvard.

I know, yeah, I'm too young to be worrying about that. (No, personally I don't think so.)

But I don't know. What should I do? I don't want to take the school tutoring, because the kids would find it amusing if the nerd goes to tutoring, and I can't go to my parents, because they always yell at me. I can't pay attention in class, it's boring and the teacher always yells.

Does anyone have any advice?!

Yes. Take the Tutoring. If you want to understand better, or if you have questions about it, then take the tutoring. Who cares if people find it amusing or not? Do what you think will help you, not what other people expect or want you to do.

Its good to have a college goal this soon, research what you need to do and do it as early as possible. Study what you have to, and do the best you can.

You have nothing to fret about.

Well, for one thing, math for me is easy. If you need help on the SOLVING of the problems, join this worldwide math tutoring system called Kumon. I have it, and i'm doing math 3 grades above my current grade level. Oh, i wanna go to Harvard Law school, too! Maybe i'll see you there wink Class of 2014, YEA!
