So, I have not posted in a long time, so here is my update. I still have my job, Animethon was pretty fun (since I was not in charge of anything this con), but I think it could have been better.
Brent is coming tomorrow, and then we heading to Bow Island for a couple of days. I am actually really nervous about being with Brent's family. I have met his parents and brother, and all his relatives on one side, but aside from shopping, I have hardly had any time with his mom and dad (especially since I adopted the "seen and not heard" approach). I have been doing some voice work with Voice Actor Alliance, and I was cast as an extra in a movie a month ago (actually more than that, but close enough). I need to contact my agent to see when I will be getting my check for that, and if there are any other things (roles) that I would be interested in.
Ow, my back hurts. Brent won't be calling tonight since he is going to his own "going away" party this evening. Lesley works until closing, and I not sure when Vijay will be home. I have been on the computer almost all day, so its no wonder that my back is sore. Maybe I will run upstairs and grab my Tsubasa fanfic, and FINALLY put the chapter up. I also want to keep going with my D. N. Angel, Labyrinth, Inuyasha, and Dodger fanfics. Heck, I want to keep going with all of them. At least when I was in my dad's basement, before I would go to sleep, I would type a chapter for a fanfic, and then upload it the next day, but most of my stories I start, and then think about 10 chapters ahead of myself, and I have to work backwards, which is a hard way to write. I also have to re-write the next chapter of my POTC fanfic, because it got deleted when we moved out of dad's (which was more than a year ago...wow).
On another note, I got a new keyboard biggrin And a Nintendo DS and I am considering ordering some plushies from a site online (but that is still to be discussed, since I need to go Xmas shopping RIGHT after I get back from Bow Island). My keyboard is newer, larger, and better sounding than the first one I got (it still serves its purpose). I learned by ear, and I can kind of read sheet music, but I much prefer the Shawn Cheek approach, or just tinkering around on the keys until the notes sound right (its how I figured out Vic Mignogna's songs, though most of them all have the similar chords).
Wow, I think this will be one of the longest journal enteries I have ever written (except for my Broken Angels one, but that was a story excerpt). Anyway, I am off to check a few things, then likely return to my typing on fanfics. I just realized that I don't really look down on the keyboard anymore, and each time I do I lose my sense of rhythm and slow down, and if I don't look I can type like wicked fast (but I guess that's why I have so many typos, usually).
OK I am stopping now.
