the girl with no name
There was a girl that lived in a time long ago. Not very many people can remember that time, when all things where considered to be equal in all aspects of the word. Animals where plentiful along with all kinds of plants. Like the trees that we all take for granted, and animals that are now extinct, like the dragon, and saber tooth cat, and unicorns, and all the animals that where around hundreds of years ago that are now gone. This girl had no family or friends except for the animals. The girl had but to call and they would come to her and do what ever she asked of them. One day her best friend along with some of the other animals told her about this wired thing they had seen in the woods. It was walking on its hind legs and seemed to be looking for something that it could not find. Her friends asked her what they should do with this wired thing that was in their home. The girl told them to leave it alone and see what it would do. The thing that all the animals where talking about was a thing called a human and it came from the edge of the woods. The human was like the girl in two ways, he had no family or friends. He was looking for the girl for a special reason. He had had a dream that foretold of him finding this wild girl that lived in the woods with the animals and he would find his happiness. Unlike the girl thou he had a name, he was called sadi and he was a very hansom man. His face was a gift of his mysterious heritage, aristocratic and too beautifully shaped to be called merely handsome. He was tall and broad-shouldered. He kept his body well toned and muscular enough to please. His voice was deep and cultured, with a husky, seductive edge to it that made women go all misty-eyed. His gold eyes and thick black hair were typical but his warm, golden-brown skin was not. When he found the girl, he was to try to convince her to come out of the woods and live with him. After weeks of looking sadi found who he was looking for. When he set eyes on her for the first time he fell madly in love with her and know that he would not fail to take her out of the woods.
The girl knew what the man wanted with her for she had had a dream that had warned her of what was coming. How the man would try to control her and her friends. She was swimming under a waterfall when he came upon her one afternoon. She could feel him before she could see him. There was a change in the water when he touched it to get a drink. He had not yet seen her because she was counseled in the reeds at the edge of the pool. However, Sadi could hear her. There was a kind of whisper on the wind that he had never heard before. He started looking for her but could not see her, then he seen a bit of dark hair in the reeds. However, when he went over there she was no ware to be seen. The girl had seen that sadi was coming over to where she was hiding so she ran. She did not really know why she was running because he looked like he was harmless. Then she remembered the dream that she had had and knew that she couldn’t let him find her unless she wanted something terrible to happen to her and all of her friends, if Sadi got his hands on her and took her out of the woods and kept her for himself to do the hell knows what.
It took Sadi another week to find the girl again. This time he found himself in a meadow that was filled with all kinds of flowers and a few trees in the distance. She was picking some flowers for the little hut that she called her home. She didn’t see sadi till he was right in front of them, by then he was falling over himself trying to get to her. When he got to her, her friend Dark Dancer was between her and sadi. Dark Dancer was not a mean horse but he didn’t like the smell that was coming off of Sadi, so he put his life on the line for the girl to try to protect her form the stranger. Sadi was so surprised how the horse was willing to protect the girl from him that he stopped right in front of them and just looked at them as if they had two heads. Than he sat down on his hunches, and looked at her for a long time to see what she would do next, and thought to himself of the things he was going to do to her when he get her all to himself. When he made a move toward her Dark Dancer protested. The girl looked at Sadi with a twinkle in her eye that Sadi could not mistake it for what it was, like a warning that was not to be ignored by him or anyone for that mater.
When she steeped around Dark Dancer, the horse stepped back knowingly and looked at Sadi under heavy lashes that never seemed to be taken off the girl as if just waiting for a sign for him to step back in front of her for any reason. The first thing that she noticed was that he was very handsome and that he couldn’t seem to take his eyes off of her long enough to even see what he was doing. Sadi just stood there looking at her like she had three heads and was walking on a tight rope. When the girl looked up into Sadi’s eyes, she saw a flicker of a flame that was burning inside of him but it was gone in the next minute. Sadi got down on his hunches and looked at her through heavy eyelids in order to hide the burning passion that he felt for her after the first glimpse of her.
Sadi got to his feet and held out his hand for the girl to take. Dark Dancer started to move in front of her but she just held up her hand and he stopped. Sadi looked at her expectantly and she took his hand. The girl beckoned Dark Dancer to follow a pace behind them. When they got to the village, the girl saw that they where heading for a big critter that was on the water. It floated on the water like otters at play. When Sadi started taking the girl toward the ship Dark Dancer ran out in front of them to try and stop them but she stopped him with a word that made no since to Sadi. When Sadi looked at her dumbfounded, she just shook her head.
When they got on the ship, the girl looked around her in wonder for she had never seen any thing like it. When she went to the front of the ship, she could feel the wind on her face and called for Dark Dancer to come to her in a langue that Sadi could not understand what she said. When he looked over the rail and seen the horse he looked at the girls face and seen that she was happy. Seeing something so wonderful, he never wanted to leave that spot. With every body on bored, the ship set sail. With in the first five minutes the girl was sick. Dark Dancer wanted to blame Sadi for the girls’ sickness since he was the one that brought her out of the woods in the first place. Had he not come and taken her from her home she would not be sick right know and they could be riding throw there meadow right now.
It took three days, before the girl started enjoying her self and it made both Dark Dancer and Sadi happy that she was happy for the first time in some weeks. It took them about a week to get across the sea and back onto sold ground. Dark Dancer was glad to finally get off the ship and have land under his feet.
