Rea looked into the eyes of a young man she’d picked up in the town square. Slowly making their way out the crowds, they made their way to a small cottage she was living in. "My lady, are you positive this will be all right?" he asked as they walked through the door. "I’m positive. Stop worrying." Rea soothed as she let her hair out of the bun on the back of her head. She caught him looking her over and she smiled. Man I’m starving!! She stepped toward him and he pulled her tight against his body. He tensed when she slowly drug her lips down his neck and teased nibbling lightly. She felt his hands wander down her hips and she pressed lightly against him as he lifted the skirt. Just as the fabric rose and he pressed his hand against the soft skin of her thigh she sunk her teeth deep into his neck. He jerked for a second then started letting his hands begin to wander again. She moaned lightly at the taste of him and the feel of his hands. Soon she realized he had quit moving and his pulse had slowed. Oh god what have I done. She jerked away and realized she’d taken too much and that he was dying. She watched silently mortified about what she had done. Unable to help him, he died in her arms. Chapter 1 Rea stepped into the dark alley just as the moon started peaking above the cluster of clouds. The faint smell of garbage and rodents lingered on the stale air. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the alley rats scampering off in the shadows. Well, it could be worse, I guess. She leaned against the wall nonchalantly lighting her last cigarette. She knew she should hurry so she could head home before sunrise. Hearing the steady fall of footsteps not to far off into the distance she straightened up and looked around. Coming around the corner, came a group of men. There were about five or six men. All were around six feet to 6 and a half feet tall, built the same in shape, and most had blonde hair. Their blue eyes glittered in the moon light as if they were looking for prey. The moved with grace and ease like a panther moving through the trees. As the men came closer they noticed the faint glow of her cigarette. Walking towards her the lead man smiled and began to slow his pace. Coming to a halt five feet from where she stood the man smiled. “Well, well, well, look at what we have here gentlemen.” The faint smell of blood tickled her nostrils. A red haze filled her eyesight as the rage of every helpless victim that had fallen to there demise by this gang of careless vampires over came her body. Holding back a vicious growl she smiled at them.” If you boys don’t mind I have some work that needs to be taken care of.” As she slowly turned, as if to head back into the bar, the youngest of the vampires rushed her. Turning just in time to catch him by the throat she flashed her fangs.” I love a little fight to end the evening.” She threw his body against the building as she swiftly pulled her dagger from her thigh hit s**t kickers. Throwing the dagger, she hit him in the chest with the dagger. As he disintegrated two more of the vampires attacked her from the sides. Dropping down to her haunches she kicked the feet out of one of them making him flail around knocking into the other one, causing his kick to miss and send him falling helplessly to the ground underneath his partner. Unaware of the fact that the fourth vampire was closing in she got a rough kick to the ribs. Gasping for air she stood.” You’re gonna pay for that you son of a b***h.” Stepping forward she punched him in the stomach and sent him flying. Retrieving her dagger from the corpse of the first vampire she rammed it through the heart of the three wounded vampires
