I look dazingly in to the final sunset. Everything must come to an end, I reminded myself. It was so...beautiful, even if it was the end of everything. I glanced over my shoulder, seeing that Xavier was just as entranced.
"Willow," He whispered, his voice cracking.
"Xavier, Don't be scared! It's only a new begining." I tried my best to reassure him, laying my head on his shoulder. His head slowly nodded, but his deep green eyes didn't move one bit. I had never seen him so scared.
Others stood by, also looking into the end of mankind itself. I smiled, somehow, realizing that no one really appreciated what they had until it was gone. Light flooded the sky as we took a vein step back. It swallowed us, maybe even burned us, but I didn't mind.
