At first I was really afraid of coming to college. No friends, no family. Totally and utterly alone in a crowd of people. I was dreading it. But now, I've made so many friends and I love them all to death.

My roommate, Nicole, is so good to me. We laugh, we joke, we just have fun. And she takes care of me. She takes care of all her friends because that's how she is and that's so cool. And she'd never seen a real live chicken till yesterday. She also got all excited over a wild rabbit cause she'd never seen one of those till the other week. (Both of which was kind of weird to me because I'm so used to seeing stuff like that). Other girls I have on my floor (and are friends) are Brenna and Valarie (they had to come up here after hurricane Katrina hit because they were going to college down in New Orleans, then there's Brittany (She's so cool and she's just a lot of fun to be around), there's Kristina (She's our tower mentor, you can go to her for help or with problems or even just to talk to. She's just this crazy energetic fun-ness. And she belches!), and there is Amber (She's a Wicca, like me, and she's also a lot of fun. We pull pranks and we do anything and everything because we're fearless and we're not afraid to make fools of ourselves). That's all my girl friends. I also have quite a few guy friends, but I'm not sure I could name them all off.

So I won't go into detail, just try and name them. Otherwise this'll be huge. There's Jake, and Jed, and Erik, and Ben, and Reid, and Nate, and Nick, and (I know I'm leaving someone out)....oh, and Brian, and the other Nick, and Pat, and the other Ben, and Tony, and Stuart, and Brandon, and ......and and....I think that's all of them...I think....

But yea, I was afraid of not having friends...and look at all of 'em! OMG! I have a lot of friends. And they're all so good to me and fun to be around. It definately makes college easier. The classes arent' that bad, but if I had to go through college without friends...it would really suck, but because of my friends, I'm having the time of my life.
