With every ally dead to my touch
And recovery out of my unsteady clutch
Breathing takes away every affliction
That your past lover caused out of deadly addiction
Drowning is done when the breathing is stopped
And feeling is done when emotions are dropped
You abandon on command of your foreign god
And ignore forced hurt without his trusty prod
The rain strikes down and I'm still alone
But now emotions are as good as unknown
