Yesterday was soo much fun. Presents, cake, and Alex and I drew something together and started to color it in. I think it's very beautiful.

It's two people dancing. The girl is pretty but not overtly so, and she's wearing a ver simple, bell sleaved dress with a tiny hiint of a bracelet on her right wrist. Her hair is medium length and curly. Her right arm is raised and her fingers are intwined with a rugged man with slightly unkept hair and handsome features. The first two buttons of his dress shirt is unbuttoned.

They're on a moonlit dock and the backgroung is a lake that'll be crystal clear.

The background is trees, a tiny hint of sky and a sliver of the moon, and the lake.

The trees and sky are done in chalk pastel.
The lake will be done in oil pastel and chalk.
And the two figures will be done in water color pencil and maybe some chalk pastel.

Alex is finishing it and I totally trust his judgement on how to apply the different mediums.

After he gets done with this piece though, I hope he really commits himself to his AP Portfolio projects. How about I want THAT for my birthday, hmmmm? Alex, are you going to deny me the gift of you accomplishments?
