Last night, Stephanie came home from church, and, as is standard, she left the tank nearly empty.
After paying dad back and partically paying back mom, I still had some money left. ._. I decided to go then, instead of letting Stephanie take the car to school today to come home completely out and be unable to start the car while waiting in the gas station to get gas...
I went up the road at 11 last night, to get some gas. The BP, where I'm a regular who they don't ask for ID or even what brand I want of cigarettes, was out. The QuikTrip, was out. The Marathon, out. Texaco, out. Race Trac, out. Finally, like a red and white beacon in the night, there was a line, 30 cars deep, into the closest gas station with gas. And only 3 pumps actually had gas.
I waited an hour and a half in my car at midnight to pay sixty-five dollars for fourteen gallons of gas.
Watching CNN last night while trying to fix my computer after mom ******** with it, people freaking out over $2.65 a gallon in other parts of the country...
._.
Tomorrow, I get my paycheck. The car's going to be mine for a while, so I'll be good for gas, after I get the paycheck, I'm going to be figuring up how much I need for gas (Perdue (the governor of Georgia, not the chicken man) has made a claim that it'll be illegal for gas stations to gouge the prices... So hopefully, the prices'll go down... a little... . -.; ), pay some of my debt back to mom, open that account and I'd like to donate some to the hurricane relief... Mainly because I've been to New Orleans and (even if I'm pretty deep in land) I'm in hurricane hell too. I'd hope someone out there would donate to us when we're blown to peices.
Gaia seriously pissed me off yesterday. The topics about how it was natural selection, that the people that were too stupid to get out, deserved it. Lost a lot of respect for people on Gaia yesterday...
Can you up and leave everything you have in two days without direction? Where do you go? What if it's big enough that where you go, it goes to where you've evacuated to? What if it's not as big as they say?
One person compared it to Hurricane Juan that only killed 8 people in a country, where yesterday in just one county in Mississippi, 50 people was the death toll -- that they knew of so far.
It is a big deal.
I hate these ******** teenagers "ahh, it doesn't bother meeee noone, they deserrrrved iiiit, I'm smarter than Jeeeessusss and all his saaaints" assholes that are trying to look all cool and smart and big and bad. I hate them.
