DISCLAIMER: I do not own Gaia, the NPC's, nor Louie Von Helson. However, I do own Jiru and other OC's.
CLARIFICATIONS REGARDING THE LAST CHAPTER: I forgot to tell you that the Leon Amia was talking about, was her boyfriend. He is not Leon the NPC; he's just another OC. Also, most characters are really people from Gaia. I'm using their nicknames just to be safe.

Two days before the Olympics...
"It's just not fair!" Jiru whined. "Why do Amia and Leon have to live on different towns and join different teams?! But it would be like betraying their own towns if they joined other teams aside from their team..."
She threw 5 shurikens at the target boards every second. She was really frustrated.
"I don't mind fighting Leon 'coz he's a proud a**. But Amia? She might look like she's innocent but she's actually dangerous..." She threw 5 more shurikens at the target boards again, missing two targets.
"On second thought," she said, her face lighting up. "A hot guy's on my team! I wonder if the rumors are true?" She imagined the guy with brownish black hair and dark enticing gray eyes. Upon imagining that, her whole face became red and she threw shurikens everywhere in a faster pace.
"I can't wait for the meeting later! I'm so excited!!"
Runa watched her master talk to herself. She rolled her eyes at her master's strange behavior and yawned with a bored look. She clicked on the remote using her tail and watched the channels changed quickly as she pressed the buttons.
"And because of the centaurs, the lake is off limits"- *CLICK!*
"The orcs are the Aekeans' friends"- *CLICK!*
"Two days left before the event-" *CLICK!*
"And so, all fishes are sold out-" *CLICK!*
Runa yawned loudly and waved her tail in the air. She clicked on the remote again, showing another channel. The channel featured the reporter for Gaian 9 Action News, Cindy Donovinh, along with Edmund, the owner of H.R. Wesley from Durem. There was also a guy beside him who had long brownish black hair. (Guess who?!)
"With opening ceremonies commencing in just a few short days, Gaia's towns are gearing up for the Olympic fight of a lifetime, and enlisting some old friends along the way, with Durem repairing relations with their former foes the vampi-" *TURN OFF!*
Runa looked behind her and saw her master holding the remote control, a glare on her beautiful yet scary face.
"Runa! Stop lazing around and train with me! I might need your help with the Olympics." Jiru said in a scolding way to her pet dragon.
Runa stood up on all-feet and growled lightly.
Jiru sighed at her pet dragon. It inherited her laziness.
"Fine, I'll give you three pink seedkins and three blue seedkins everyday if you train with me." She said, her voice full of remorse and regret.
The dragon's face quickly lit up and quickly went to her side.
"Good for nothing dragon. You only think of food." She mumbled under her breath as she rolled her eyes.
They trained for hours until it was time for the meeting. The Durem NPC's asked all the people, who joined the Durem team, to meet at the Durem meeting place. The Rejected Olympics was a very important up-coming event so they needed a plan.
Jiru and Runa arrived at the meeting place. A lot of people were already there. Most of them were wearing black and red.
'No one ever told me to wear red and black.' She said as she looked at her outfit. She was wearing a black dress that had a big pink ribbon on her chest level. Her black hair was curled neatly and was decorated with a pink flower hairclip and one big pink ribbon at the back of her head. A thin black line, almost unnoticeable, was decorated around her beautiful red eyes. Her color motive? Mostly pink and black.
She looked for an isolated place and found a corner where no one was hanging out at. She sat cross-legged on an edge of a bench that she found there. Runa flew behind her and rested her snout on Jiru's left shoulder. Jiru automatically petted her with her right hand. "Are you tired already?" she asked gently.
Runa grunted a sigh and purred softly.
"Don't worry, after this meeting, you'll get to eat your treats." She assured, crying inwardly. She spent 5,000 gold just to buy those fishes. And there was an increase in the prices because the Bass'ken Lake was closed by the centaurs. Why did she have to have a gluttonous pet?
"You smell delicious."
Jiru turned to look at the person who said that and saw a rather good-looking person. Though, he looked a little bit...crazy and pale.
"Ah...thank you?" was all she could say. 'When did he come here? I didn't even notice him.'
Runa growled dangerously upon seeing that person.
That person let out a smile and his fangs showed. Jiru quickly jumped away and pulled out three shurikens from both of her hands. Runa's red eyes glowed in a dangerous way and her fangs and claws showed.
"Oh. You're a skilled fighter. Makes me want to taste you more."
"What is a vampire doing here?" she asked, more to herself, becoming more alert.
"So, you don't know, eh? To think you're on the team."
"What do you me-" she stopped in mid-sentence when she saw the vampire kneel down on his knees. She lowered her weapons and then wondered why the vampire did such an unexpected movement. She looked behind her and found a very, very good-looking guy.
He was taller than her, about 5 inches apart. He had long brownish black hair that extended until his waist. He had a built body. But the most beautiful part of him that she saw was his eyes. They were dark gray. But she was unsure if they were gray or yellow because they were slightly glowing. A tint of red graced to her porcelain-like cheeks, however, she tried her best to not show it to them.
"Did I not tell all of you to not drink blood in this event?" he said, revealing his surprisingly deep voice.
"I am sorry, King Louie." Apologized the vampire. He looked scared to this so-called King Louie.
That made Jiru think. Where did she hear that name before? King Louie? King Louie...King Louie...
"Be gone now or I shall punish you gravely."
The vampire quickly disappeared from their sight.
Jiru was still in a deep thought, not realizing that the so-called 'King Louie' was looking at her.
"Where, oh, where did I hear that name before?" she asked.
Runa rolled her eyes at her master. She was being gullible at this moment.
"Are you not hurt?" Louie asked, trying to not disturb the girl's thoughts seeing as if she was in a deep thought.
"That's it!" she suddenly exclaimed, clapping her hands.
Louie quirked his eyebrow up in an amused way.
She suddenly pointed at him. "You're the King of the Vampires! The successor of King Vladimir Von Helson!" she said.
Louie did not say anything, a sad look reoccurring on his gorgeous face. Jiru pointed a kunai at his throat. He did not even break a sweat at her actions.
"You're on team Durem, aren't you?" he asked, his expression changing.
Jiru narrowed her eyes when he said that. "Yes." She simply answered.
"Then you must know that the vampires are on your side." He said.
"What the hell are you saying? After what that vampire did?!" she said. "If you're lying, I'll cut your throat in less than a second."
"Louie! What is going on here?!" Edmund said as he ran towards Jiru and Louie's direction.
Jiru turned her head and let surprise take over her. "Mr. Edmund?" she asked with a puzzled look. She was also surprised to find everyone there: the Durem NPC's and other team members. There were chatters on the crowd as they looked at the scene between her and the king of vampires.
"Okay, now I'm REALLY CONFUSED. How do you know the king of vampires, Mr. Edmund?" she asked, moving her kunai away from Louie's throat.
"Ms. Jiru," he started, crossing his arms towards his chest. "The vampires are on our side, along with the dark elves."
"Wa-WHAT?! No one told me that!" she accused.
"Did you watch the news this morning?" he asked, yet again.
"No...watching T.V. is the least thing I would do." She answered in a monotone.
"Then, you missed my announcement. The vampires will work with us on the Olympics. It is a way to repair our relations with them." Edmund explained as he adjusted his glasses to the bridge of his nose.
Jiru stared at them. "EHHHHH?!"
To be continued...
