Hiei held onto her tightly, he could feel her warm blood from her wound soaking through his black cloak. " Oh..sakura.." His voice sounded muffled, as his face was pressed into her shoulder, as most people would do in an emotional time. Sakura opened her eyes, trying to see things in her view, but everything was so hazy. It was as if, a fog had washed over her eyes, blurring everything she looked at. " aaaahh..." Moaning seemed all that she could do, I mean, think about it, wouldn't you do that too? If you had a bullet wound in your chest and you were bleeding ..well, a bloody lot, then wouldn't you just moan too. I would man, I would.

The street seemed to wind on forever. As Javert ran on, the road ahead of him looked the same as it did 15 minutes ago. " Stupid...street..stupid bloody ....street....." He began to curse and sweat perfusely. He finally had to stop for a moment, breathing heartily the cold air swelleing up around him. All through his mind, he was worrying a great deal. As he breathed, he thought of her. The one he cared for so much. He loved her, no matter how much her friends made fun of him, and joked about his "nightstick". Things like that were very upseting, but through it all, he always got through it with her, with the one whom her friends called, " billy". She smiled alot at him, and always stayed with him when his heart felt heavy, that normally happened when he went walking down the road of his past. He shook his head, and wiped his brow of the beads of sweat that was begining to form. The road called out to him, telling him he had to go on, that she needed him to find her. You know, that is really freaky, the road talking to you and all. Wouldn't that mean you were going mad from the heat or something right ? Oh well, anyway, ja vert obeyed the call that compeled him to go on. He needed to see that she was safe, and if he had to, beat the ones down who dared to harm her.
He went on, hoping to get there before anything could harm his love.

" YOU MIDGET a*****e YOU!!!" Mishka howled as she rubbed her rump. She sat up, her eyes ablaze, and targeting Hiei with their fire. " You little, rotten a*****e, wait til I get my hands on you.."
But, of course, Hiei didn't hear any of this. He was too busy making sure Sakura was alright. He looked her over, checked out all of her wounds, and he also didn't notice the looks he was getting from Katie.
"You," She said, glaring at him with fire in her eyes. " YOU WERE GOING TO ASK SAKURA TO MARRY YOU!!!!?? " He whacked him upsid the head with her bookbag, which had been flung across the street when she was stabbed.
" WHAT THE HELL??!" Hiei yelled at her, as she whacked on him some more. " DO YOU KNOW THAT SHE IS ONLY 15!!?? SHE CAN"T MARRY YOU!!!!!!!"
The heat was on, and poor Hiei was being beaten up like a pinata at a kid's party.
Funny how a situation can go from suspensful, to PAINFULLY FUNNY!!
