I'm excited. I can't wait for the Writing Arena to come out and this weekend I'm going to plan a short story. I think the most I'll write is 4,000 words. Probably not even that much if I can help it because I'm looking at this median. It's a screen and I think to start out until I can make a name for myself that my work is worth the eye strain. The screen is jarring enough to read works instead of chatting so what I write has to be absolutely fabulous. Considering I have until the arena opens up, I have enough time to write said fabulous peice, get it written, get it typed, get it edited, I think I may be able to enter it for the first week ever. I hope so because the hype of the arena for the first week will push people to want to read it. Maybe I can hold out for the second week and hopefull the excitement will carry over. I could use the first week to read other people's work and critique it and just get my feet wet with it all and get people seeing my name. I sound like I'm concoting a plan but I want to treat this like a job. For one, I want a lot of pretty pixles. Two, I'm still fighting Resistance and to treat it like a job helps me. I love the idea of it being my job to entertain people. And get gold from it. I like to think of Gaia as practice.
I think I want to play with the Seven Deadly Sins. surprised Slightly cliche but something people are familiar with.
