If You Were Gay:
Seriously, I WOULD shout "Hooray!". I absolutely LOVE Gay people. I don't know what else to say about that, so now I'll go on a rant.
Ahem,
First off, I would like to point out something. They are HUMANS. They shouldn't be treated badly just because they like the same sex. All men are created equal (as are women), so why is everybody acting so stupid over this topic?
Have any of you Homo-phobes/haters out there ever been dissed/hurt/KILLED because you like the opposite sex? I certaintly have never come accross any news like that. It angers me SO MUCH that someone would get KILLED over something as small as this. It's so ******** frustrating whenever I hear things like this happen.
I was watching the beginning(sp?) of the 700Club one night and they immediately brought up the whole deal about California allowing Gay marriage. They acted as though Gay people were as evil as the ******** Devil. It disgusted me and I about threw a bunch of manga at my TV. I was yelling to myself and at the TV and stormed out of my room and even my lazy-a** mom asked me what I was so upset about. I wanted to strangle the people on the show. It filled me with so much RAGE.
I don't understand how people can be that cruel. Why should it matter? The only reason I could think of that would make me at any bit miffed -at most- with someone who was gay, would be that I was in love with them. You know, head-over-heels in love with no intention of changing my mind. The highest form of dislike I might have for them is being miffed, and that's not even enough to get me to narrow my eyes.
The only way I could understand anyone who's homophobic, is if they've ever been hit on (I'm talking about a ridiculous amount, not once or twice). Anyone who's phobic after only a few times is a pansy (Unless, you know, they tried to rape ya).
Least to say, I don't take to kindly to haters.
If anyone out there is gay (meaning lesbians too!) and they want to tell someone what they've been through, I'm here and willing to listen! I may be straight, but I'm not narrow!
If anyone wants to talk to me about this subject, feel free to PM me. (If it's to b***h at me and tell me how horrible I am for approving these kind of relationships, I'll still listen.)
I'm open to all opinions.
