I don't really care about what people say about Satanism and I'm rather tired of fluffbunny remarks that I hear. The Satanists I know don't really have the control over their lives they say they do. As for indulging more into 'worldly' things as Christians and such would say, try the humanist philosphy. That'll probably get you further than Satanism. (And I have read most of the Satanist bible... most of it because I just couldn't take it seriously; LaVey seemed he like he just wanted to be contrary to Christians for the sake of being contrary. Hopefully he was being satrical, but he probably wasn't.)
