it's really weird, what i just found out today.
i realized that i have never enjoyed reading that much cuz of the reading we've been doing in school. when we read in school, i just never really paid attention. when we read beowulf in school (it was a retelling so that it was like a novel or novella) i was in a high potential group. i was behind on my questions cuz i just blabbered too much, so i never finished readign the book and after a while i just copied off answers from people. i was a poopy student at that time, now that i think about it... stare
and then when we read the outsiders, i wan't exactly paying attention there cuz the book was not my type. it'd probably only be my type if there was more action between the socs and the greasers and if the book wasn't all focused on the author's descriptions. i liked the movie (you can disagree with me on this one, but i think matt dillon was cute back then and tom cruise had a weird voice...). but that wasn't good reading either.
i was just having a bad time with reading, so i never felt like doing it anymore. and also at home i have no good books to read. so today i finally went to the library and got some new books and now i actually experience old reading experiences again. the book i have is called premonitions and it's about a girl who discovers she's pyschic.
so yeah, i finally got another random journal entry.
